There will be a quick test to make sure you know what you're doing on the river, if not a short lesson will ensure you have the skills to take on the bow.
Then your group shall float down the river into Downtown Calgary. Feel free to make a stop or two along the way (Recommend is Edworthy park as a halfway point)
The ending point is just before the Peace Bridge (big red bridge) on the right-hand side.

One of us will be there to take the rafts and equipment, then your trip is done and you can continue on your merry way!
Dress for the Weather!
Flip-flops, sandals or Crocs are the best footwear options. (Crocs are amazing!)
Shorts and a comfortable shirt or a swim-suit if you plan on jumping in. (Maybe a sweater if the weather calls for it)
A small cooler with drinks is a pro move and maybe even a few snacks for the journey.
Less is more! No need to bring backpacks and other non-essentials, leave them at home or in the vehicle.
Yes, it is a Class 1 River the safest river classification.
As long as you pay attention and wear a life jacket you will be fine.
The River is patrolled by our lovely fire department.
It's recommended to leave your vehicle at the end by the peace bridge,
There is street parking and a lot on 8th street.
Uber or Bus to Bowness Park. So at the end of your trip you can take your vehicle and go home! (do the work ahead of time)
If you do plan to drive to Bowness Park its very difficult to find lot parking on weekends.
Recommend parking above a couple blocks away and just walking down. it will be easier and less stressful.
